Katherine Watson steps in at the Halle Festival
Katherine Watson takes a few days out of her hectic schedule to take over a Baroque programme featuring well-loved arias by Handel, together with one of his most lavish Motets, Silete Venti at the Halle International Festival on Sunday 12th June. Steven Devine conducts the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
Trained at Trinity College, Cambridge and at Le Jardin des Voix with William Christie, Katherine Watson is a very much in demand both on the concert and opera platforms with performances to come in Barcelona, Leipzig, Beaune Festival, the BBC Proms and Bordeaux opera.
